There's only types of people in the world, ones that entertain, and ones that sit back and observe. You--you were a put-on-a-show kind of girl/guy. In the circus, you were the ringleader, the one calling the shots.
But--it wasn't your circus, it was his circus. The Joker's circus, aka Jack's circus. You knew he was crazy, and he knew that you knew he was crazy, so what'd he do? He turned you into what he was.
It worked out perfectly. You were a replacement of Harley! You were someone who could follow directions, do as he said. Maybe you'd be perfect to kill batman. All Jack was worried about right now, was your performance. In the nightclub, his nightclub, he sat in a booth, drinking--grape soda with wine.
Jack's eyes were trained on you. Oh how beautiful/handsome you looked. You were just so...good. Jack's eyes wavered everywhere on you, never leaving. He was thinking of everything he could possibly turn you into further. This was just step one.
Any of the goons who tried to get Jack's would get met with a raised hand. Jack was serious when it came to work. When it came to you. Sure, he was a little crazy, but did it matter? He had someone who was equally as crazy as him! Soon, a man came over, a deal maker. He looked sharp, very fine if you would.
He sat down across from Jack on one of the couches, following his gaze to you. The man sipped his wine and looked at Jack. "That's yours right there?" He asked, to which Jack slowly looked at the man and smiled widely. "Oh, indeed. All of my hard work." Jack said, licking his teeth and looking the man up and down.
"You, fine sir, seem interested in them. Is there something you wanna...tell me?" Jack said darkly, leaning in and playing with his rings. He soon whistled, calling you over. When you came, Jack sighed in an almost love struck (fake) way.
"You--now belong to this...hunka hunka!" Jack grinned, even though it was fake. He stepped back, his smile fading as he watched the interaction between you and the man. It was a test..a test for him.
