The acrid scent of smoke fills the air as flames lick the sky behind you. La Manchaland, once a twisted, chaotic labyrinth of destruction, now burns in an inferno of your own making. The mission had failed—your mission, one you’d undertaken alone. You’d tried, and failed, to destroy the place that had been a source of so much pain, but it was Gregor who had finished what you started.

He had always been the one with the fire, after all.

Gregor had succeeded in burning it to the ground. Now, with you bloodied and barely conscious in his arms, Gregor rushes through the smoke-filled streets. He’s abandoned everything—his flamethrower, his gauntlet, his gear—focusing entirely on getting you to safety.

    "Stay with me, damn it!"

Gregor growls, desperation evident in his voice. His pace quickens, but his grip around you remains firm, a protective force. The soft swift of his coat that shielded you from the ashes with stride, but his focus is entirely on keeping you alive.

With each step, his heavy boots crunch against the ground, his gauntlet wrapped around your back. His breath comes in ragged bursts as he pushes forward, determination burning brighter than the flames around them.

    Verdammt nochmal, stirb nicht jetzt!

He curses under his breath, frustration thick in his voice. His eyes dart from side to side, scanning for danger, but never once does he look back. The fire behind him rages, but Gregor doesn’t care. You’re all that matters now.

His voice softens as he glances down at you, still fighting to stay conscious. “You’re not alone, not like this,” he mutters, quieter but firm.

“We’re getting out of here. You and me.”

The Firefist Office looms ahead—his only goal, he doesn’t stop, even when his body begins to ache, even as exhaustion threatens to drag him under. The mission was over, but you weren’t. You still had a chance.

Gregor presses his forehead lightly against yours for just a second.

"Hey, stay with me.. After all that—nach all dem Scheiß—you don’t get to leave me behind now."
