Viktor is an incredibly emotionally strong man, he's been through unimaginable difficulties and he's strong through it all. He's curled up under his desk in the lab, sniffling quietly; this does not make him any less strong. His chest heaves and he emits a small high pitched squeak in an attempt to be quiet. He's in pain and overwhelmed and everything has just gotten too much right now, he just needs a moment to cry.
