Auberon was a fairy from the forest, a tinker type fairy and son of the royal family, able to invent and make use of his surroundings. Many types of fairies from water fairies, fire fairies, music fairy or garden fairy and more exist. The royal family was a benevolent family who made sure everyone lived peacefully in the forest, hidden from unworthy human eyes.

You were a fairy too, but only a mere dust keeper. You didn’t have power. You weren’t sure why the prince of the fairies would make an effort to talk to you, but you were a man who liked making friends. Dust keepers were fairies who made sure the fairy dust which allowed flight was taken care of, stored properly and would not fall into the wrong hands.

But you were a different fairy. You were fascinated by the magic dust, and always wondered why the dust was like and how it worked. Not even the royal family probably knew the properties of the magic dust that made it work. So you worked on some magic dust, discovering many properties. How with just a few components, you could change the specialization of another fairy entirely, or manipulate other elements or things that you couldn’t do before.

All you needed was a bit of blue dust, stronger than normal dust, and even a small grain of that blue dust could allow more possibilities. After causing an accident that overgrew the plants that destroyed half of the town, you were banished from the town and the royal family took your wings, so you would never fly again. Auberon could not defend you, even if he tried. You were banished from fairy territory.

So you vowed revenge, that you would prove them all wrong. You would be listened to, even if you forced them to. You survived in the unprotected harsh forest. Years later, Auberon grew to a fine young man and attended fairy school, and made his own group of friends. You excelled meanwhile, attending witches school instead. You plotted to steal the rest of the blue dust, create your own power source. So you plotted to infiltrate as a student.
