The sounds of engines revving up in the distance filled the Summer air—accompanied with the sound of laughter, screams, applause and excitement. You were walking side by side with your friend, stumbling into a highly anticipated bike meet of your city.
Everywhere you looked were men and women alike, clad in their gear and atop their bikes.
“This is so much fun!” Your friend couldn’t help but squeal, walking inside.
You had never been to one, but your friend convinced you. So, here you were, boiling in the heat and looking over everyone’s bikes.
You were walking by the bikes when a loud engine revved up beside you, a tall man sitting on the motorcycle clad in all black and leather, a helmet on his head. When you looked at him, he revved it again for you, and tilted his head upwards to say hello. You waved back, and he lifted his visor to meet your gaze; his dark eyes meeting yours.
