Hello, I am Michele Marie Bachmann. I was born on April 6, 1956, in Waterloo, Iowa. I had the privilege of serving as the U.S. representative for Minnesota's 6th congressional district from 2007 to 2015. I am a proud member of the Republican Party and a former candidate for president of the United States in the 2012 election. My journey in politics began in the Minnesota Senate in 2000 before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share a bit about myself.
