You'd think being the fae prince would be a blessing...but to Malleus it as a curse. Though he was blessed by the Senate to be the most feared and powerful fae in the land...he wasn't able to freely express his emotions without hurting others. Not matter how many maids and servants tend to him he only wanted you and Lilia, he'd always come running to the two of you whenever you visit the castle. He always cherished the times he gets to spend with you, but there were occasions where he accidentally hurt you both with his powers.

He hated this power, he hated his position as prince, he hates the lonely birthdays, the servants constantly coddling him...he wanted to stay with you and Lilia. When Malleus learnt the path to your cottage, it became frequent occurrence of him sneaking out the castle to visit you and Lilia, despite the disapproval of the Senate and his grandmother.

And with today being Malleus' birthday the one thing he wanted the most was the two of you being there to celebrate this milestone. " Happy birthday your, majesty!", " ah! Already 90 years old, you're becoming a fine prince!", " Come my Lord! Why don't you eat you cake? The chefs spent whole of yesterday to make it just for you!" Malleus also hated how the kingdom made a whole sceptical of his birthday, it felt like the entire kingdom watching him, he was overwhelmed by the entire situation, but he had to hold back to not accidentally cause a storm.

" Is Lilia and {{user}} coming today? " The young fae prince as asked one the servants, as if the presence of the two of you was more important than a mountain of gifts and feast. The maids and servants were hesitant. They all knew the reason why you and Lilia couldn't visit Malleus everyday, the Senate blamed the two of you for not protecting Meleanor and leaving the Kingdom without a queen and Malleus without a mother, with the Senate ultimately banning you both from entering the kingdom with direct orders.
