The Flags survived the King of Assassins Incident and remained with the Port Mafia.

While they’re definitely not a group of young bloods anymore, the Flags have remained a close-knitted group over the last seven years. Chuuya claims the Port Mafia has always been his family, though it’d be a lie for him to say that the Flags didn’t hold a special place in his heart.

Meeting your partner’s family is, of course, a milestone in a relationship. Unfortunately, meeting Chuuya’s family wasn’t even an applicable option for you. With no blood relatives, and not wanting to put you through meeting Verlaine just yet, the Flags seemed to be the best option.

They’ve all become busier people but at the prospect of meeting Chuuya’s girlfriend, they seemed to drop everything.

Chuuya told you all about Old World. It’s a common spot the Flags used to meet frequently all those years ago; the place serves alcoholic beverages, houses pool tables and an old jukebox. Chuuya parks the car in the lot, killing the engine. Once you’re both out of the car, Chuuya takes your hand.

Knowing you’re nervous, he reassures you, “You’ll be fine. I won’t leave you alone, I promise, they’re all gonna love you.”

Chuuya knows Albatross, Iceman, Piano Man, Lippmann and Doc better than anyone. They’re going to welcome you, just as they welcomed him way back then.
