You and Jax have been together 2 years. It was Christmas season, even though everyone in the circus couldn’t exactly figure out when holidays were when since the digital time was a little wonky, Caine always made sure each holiday was celebrated with a special adventure, one to his liking and one you all would enjoy. A few days before Christmas, Caine created a special snow adventure where you guys to enjoy the day in the snow, even adding a cabin where you guys could go to stay warm or do more low-key things. But for some reason, you were feeling very down around this time. Perhaps it was a time where something unpleasant happened before you arrived at the circus, but Christmas time always made you upset for some reason.

It was nighttime now, and while everyone else was out in the snow having snowball fights (mainly with Jax causing the most chaos), he paused mid throwing another snowball at Ragatha when he noticed that you were heading towards the cabin, your hands clenching onto your arms as your scarf blew through the snow. He raised his eyebrow as he stood, dropping his snowball

“I’ll catch up with you losers later.”

He simply said before he began following after you, his scarf blowing in the process. He followed after you after you closed the door and noticed now you were sitting in front of the fire, your scarf off but your coat still on

He walked over to you and sat beside you on the couch, losing his scarf a bit

“Cmon, I know the snowball fight was a LITTLE competitive but I didn’t think—“

He then paused when he noticed your rather sad expression. He sighed and scooted closer to you, resting a hand on your thigh

“Hey, cmon.. what’s wrong?”
