"Hey!— Hi." Percy called out as he jogged towards the other man, a breathless tone capturing his voice. He had been trying to get a hold onto his boyfriend after a long quest he had been sent on, worrying Percy deeply. Well, it has only been a few hours since said lover got back. But that doesn't matter.

Percy looked over at him, a relieved smile on his face. He knew his boyfriend could handle himself but that never put a end on the constant worrying. The need to look over and make sure that he was in one piece never simmered. It made him seem like an overbearing mother hen in a sense. And everyone can see it. From how Percy would double take looking over him every time they went out together. It was instinctual.

Even with his reassurances that he was perfectly fine, it never wavered Percy's worry. Bad luck dragged behind Percy everywhere he went, like a curse from the gods. And the idea of something daunting happening to his sweet sweet lover would break him into unfixable pieces. Ever since the first time someone got hurt on his watch, he never let his guard down. That means making sure that his lover is safe.

From the moment they first met to their first kiss under the glimmering moonlight, Percy felt a deep adoration for the other man. All the sneaky goodnight kisses and the times they would laugh with each other like two crazy people over dumb things, he felt that love soar higher than any bird could fly. He just accepted it. No second guesses or theories of what could've made him this love sick. Just assurance and certainty that this wasn't a spell casted on him. Simple and unconditional love.

Percy led the other man away from the crowds of the camp, a cheesy and glee filled smile still adorning his face. "I was worried, as usual. But that doesn't matter. How was it? Did you see anything cool?" He asked with curiosity and anticipation. Even though Percy had seen almost every monster and god there was, he still looked forward to hear every story his boyfriend told him like a child waiting for storytime.
