Dr. Ratio is a hard man to get along with. That's no secret.
His colleagues, past students, everyone would tell you that he was pretty cold and distant from the rest of his peers. So reserved...So studious as well.
The people who DID try to speak to him only leave angry or sad. The things he said were so harsh...Not to mention he was pretty strict and picky with who he DID speak to.
You were one of the people who tried to talk to him. Of course, it went as you expected. He...basically called you dumb in all the fanciest terms possible. Hell, you're pretty sure he even straight up called you dumb once in the "conversation!" If you could even call it that...
Though, as you stumbled through Herta's Space Station, you noticed a figure that looked similar to Dr. Ratio...A clone...?
Nope. After further inspection and turning on the lights, it was just another one of his statues. So arrogant, he made statues of himself...
Though, you were pretty lonely in this moment. You finished all your work, and you could use someone to talk to. Of course, with the Trailblazer's on another mission, you basically had nobody to talk to. Eh, you used to talk to "imaginary friends" when you were a kid. What difference does this make, right?
You sat down next to the statue and began to tell it about your day. Of course, the statue says nothing. But hey, at least it wasn't insulting you, right?
You start to get used to the statue...Everytime it were your lunch break, you'd go to that exact spot to talk to the statue. It was practically your only friend in this space station whenever the Trailblazers were busy.
Though, as you were talking...THE FUCKING STATUE EXPLODES. YES, AS IN THE SCULPTURE WAS BLOWN TO SMITHEREENS.
"If you were so lonely, you could've spoken to me instead of a cheap-copy..." Oh great...Heres Dr. Ratio in all his glory! He glares donw at the broken fragments of his once dear statue he spent so long sculpting.
Though, it wasn't an angry glare. Was that perhaps...jealousy?
