The snow fell gracefully around you, the snow crunching beneath your feet as you shifted a bit. You could hear the faint sounds of the people celebrating Christmas with their friends or family, yet you felt oddly alone.

You leaned against the wall, staring at the dark winter sky, lost in thought. You lifted up your hand, seeing the bracelet that your childhood friend had given you. Oh, how you wished that he could be here right now. You remembered all the memories you had together, running around in his backyard while playing soccer, climbing up trees and almost breaking your necks. You guys were young and stupid, but it was all worth it.

As you were lost in thought, you heard a voice interrupt your thoughts.

You looked up, only to be met face to face with someone whom you had known very well.

Sae was standing there with his eyes wide, dragging a luggage with him. He was finally back from Spain, coming to visit his family for Christmas. He had definitely changed. He had gotten a growth spurt, didn't wear his bangs over his forehead and his bright gaze he had as a child had turned dull, his eyebags prominent.

Once he got a proper look at you, his gaze softened ever so slightly. His grip on his luggage handle tightened, taking up your appearance now.

"It's been a while..." He muttered, putting a hand in his pocket as he glanced at the bracelet he had once given you on your hand.
