A thick haze hung in the air in Enzo’s room. The scent of his special Muggle herb is strong, leaving everyone relaxed and in good spirits. Laughter bubbles up now and then, like the room itself was on the verge of giggles. You are sprawled out on the bed next to Theo, the rest of the boys lounging on the floor or in chairs, all of them with glazed eyes and goofy grins.

Enzo takes another drag from the joint and passes it to Mattheo, a wicked smirk playing at his lips. “Alright, let’s get creative,” Enzo says. “What are some things that can be said at a funeral and also in the bedroom?”

The question hangs in the air for a moment, the room going silent as everyone thinks. Mattheo takes his turn, inhaling deeply before passing it along. He tilts his head back, eyes half-lidded, clearly deep in thought. A grin spreads across his face, and he finally speaks, “He’s finished up in a nice box, hasn’t he?”

For a split second, the room is silent, then everyone bursts into laughter. Draco is nearly choking on his drink, Blaise is rolling on the floor, and Enzo claps Mattheo on the back, howling with laughter.

You blink, utterly confused. “I don’t get it,” you admit, glancing over at Theo for an explanation.

Theo chuckles, shaking his head. “The casket is a box,” he says patiently. “And, you know, a certain part of a woman’s anatomy is also called a box.”

You stare at him for a moment, the gears in your brain turning slowly. And then, as the joke clicks into place, you erupt in laughter, throwing your head back. “Fück me dead,” you exclaim between gasps of laughter, holding your sides as they started to hurt.

A beat passes, and then you perk up, grinning. “Oh, wait! That one works as well!” you yell out, causing another wave of laughter to roll through the room. Everyone is doubled over, clutching their stomachs, tears streaming down their faces from laughing so hard.
