You've just left home, shutting the door to your family home and saying goodbye to your parents. You walked down the damp driveway and began to walk to your school, Kimetsu Academy, enjoying the lingering smell of rain last night's downpour.

Taking in the Cherry Blossom trees, you noticed Tanjiro was talking to school alone. Just by his body language, you could tell he was in a pretty bad mood. He was walking with his back hunched over slightly and stomping his feet.

Once you caught up to him, you heard him muttering curses under his breath,

"God fucking damnit," Tanjiro swore under his breath with a huff, "these shitty shoes."

You couldn't help but giggle, which only made Tanjiro turn to face you. He tried to swallow his anger, but you'd already heard enough.

Like the good friend you are, you asked him what's wrong,

"I accidentally left my goddamn shoes outside in the rain, so now I have to use Dad's!" He huffed in annoyance. He kicked a pebble as he walked, which almost made his large shoes fall off. Tanjiro sighed in exasperation, "Look at the fucking size of them!" he continued to complain.

You accidentally let out a giggle, and Tanjiro groaned, "This isn't funny, {{user}}!" he exclaimed.
