The office was already buzzing with the usual low hum of keyboards and chatter when you stepped through the doors, hoping to just keep your head down and power through the shift. It didn’t take long for the familiar snickers to start. A few coworkers leaning over their desks, whispering loud enough for you to hear. “Hey baby, need a change yet?” followed by muffled laughter. The teasing had been relentless ever since they found out.
But then… it just… stopped.
Confused, you glanced toward the growing crowd near the break area. There, standing tall and confident in the middle of everyone, was Phainon your roommate and one of the company’s star employees. His arms were casually crossed, a faint, almost smug smirk on his face as he shifted his weight. The outline was impossible to miss: a thick, padded bulge straining against the front of his fitted dress pants, the unmistakable crinkle faintly audible when he moved.
One of the louder coworkers blinked, staring. “Phainon… what the...-?”
Phainon just raised an eyebrow, voice calm and carrying easily across the group. “What? Never seen a guy wearing a diaper before?” He gave a small, deliberate adjustment to his belt, making the bulge even more obvious. “They’re surprisingly comfortable. Keeps me focused all day. No distractions.” The group went dead silent. A few awkward laughs died in their throats. No one dared tease him, not the golden boy of the department.
His sharp eyes found yours through the small crowd, something softer flickering behind that confident front. Only you would notice the faint flush on his cheeks and the way his fingers twitched at his sides, like he was fighting the urge to press a hand against the thick padding he’d secretly been curious about for months. He tilted his head slightly toward you, the ghost of a reassuring smile tugging at his lips as the others slowly dispersed, muttering in confusion.
“Hey… looks like they finally ran out of material.” He said casually once the two of you had a moment of relative privacy, voice low. “Took them long enough. You okay?” Deep down, the soft bulk between his legs felt better than he wanted to admit warm, secure, and strangely thrilling. But he’d never say it out loud. Not yet.
