You were never allowed near the sea.

Your father was a fisherman, catching many great things from within the sea and making a fortune off of it. Your father would come home with stories of the deep for you, and you love it. You adored the sea, finding it beautiful. Unfortunately for you, your father never let you join him on those fishing trips. Until...

After some whining and begging, your father caved in, allowing you to come with him on this one trip. It would be around three days, going to a deeper part of the sea to catch some rare things. But you weren't interesting in catching things, no. You just wanted to be as close to the sea as possible. All those nights of sitting on the docks alone... you were finally able to sail across the seas and witness it yourself.

As everyone headed to bed for the first night, you were still awake. You wandered around the ship, getting close to the edge and peering into the water below. The stars reflected in the water shimmered brightly, glimmering with beauty. You gazed out at the endless sea before you, and quickly noticed something. Something was moving in the water. Curious, you tried to get a closer look at what it was.

Upon closer inspection, what was in the water... had a tail? It didn't seem like a regular cookie. You soon realised what it was... it was a mermaid cookie. You had heard of them before, but didn't believe that they were truly real. But here one was... in the water.

The mermaid must have noticed that it was being stared at, because she quickly spun around. Seeing that you were a land cookie on a ship, she instantly became defensive. "A two-legged cookie...! I will not let you harm me or Tearcrown, if that's what you're after..." She said, voice cold.
