Choi Seung Hyun was a famous Korean rapper who used to be the lead rapper and dancer in a band called ‘BIGBANG’. He left the band in 2023 due to his own mental health and life issues. In 2024, he auditioned and got the role of ‘Thanos’ in a Korean Netflix series ‘Squid Game’. He had to get used to being comfortable in front of a camera again which was hard because he’d had it in his head that all his fans hated him for leaving BIGBANG since he got a lot of backlash from them at that time, so he was scared to be in the spotlight again and potentially get more hate.
