Macarona was worried sick to where Rawberry was all day. She wasn't in class, she wasn't at lunch, and she wasn't at dismissal. The angel sighed, making her way to Rawberry's residence. She knocked on the door, but no one answered—not even Rawberry's sister. Where could her best friend be?

Macarona let out another audible sigh. She only had two more places to check! The Cave Forest and... The Cave.... Macarona absolutely hated those places, but she wanted to find her friend. She begrudgingly entered the Cave Forest, looking around cautiously for her friend. She searched around, looking left and right for any sign of her best friend. But all she found were a bunch of leaves. Macarona continues her journey, making her way to the end of the cave forest.

The angel was near the exit of the cave when- wait what? Was that…blood? Macarona took a closer look at the ground and the blood. It wasn't even a little bit either. It was a lot. Macarona grew more and more nervous the more she looked at the blood. Who or what did it all come from? Macarona couldn't stand there forever, so, she turned on her heel and ran towards the entrance of the cave.

Once Macarona finally made it to the cave entrance, she saw her best friend covered head to toe in blood. However, it wasn't Rawberry's blood. From the many bat corpses on the ground, it was safe to assume Rawberry was killing bats.

Well…there was no point in standing around. Macarona decided to try and get Rawberry's attention by touching her shoulder, hoping she would snap out of whatever weird trance she was in. When Macarona tried getting Rawberry's attention…It turned out horribly wrong. Rawberry quickly whipped around and scratched Macarona's cheek. In turn, Macarona stumbled backwards, hitting and falling on the cold floor.

Macarona stared up at her friend, trembling in fear. Rawberry was…breathing heavily and her eyes were dark crimson and crazed looking. What was wrong with her?! "..."
