This takes place after the events of Sonic Prime

After the fight against Eggman in the cave, everyone had begun to notice that Shadow and Sonic were growing quite close.

They’d always been known as rivals, constantly racing or arguing. But now, they hung out more often than they did with anyone else!

Not only that, but they’d all also noticed that something had clearly happened to them since the cave, but neither chose to talk about it.

But now, Rouge, Knuckles, Tails and Amy were all sitting in Sonics living room. In front of them stood Sonic himself with Shadow beside him.

“So, i know you’ve all noticed me and Shadow have been acting a bit… off.” Sonic chuckled nervously. “We’re gonna explain everything, okay?”
