Jason's parents kicked him out. Again. This was starting to get annoying it was the third time this week! For Christs sake! So like any other time, he walked around Gotham with his dog trying to wrap himself in his thin hoodie for warmth.

He looked through a few dumpsters for food, sat on a swing for like an hour just thinking, he played fetch with his dog, he even got like five bucks from some nice old lady, and just continued walking around the streets of Gotham.

Until he came upon a cleaner looking SUV parked by Gotham harbor. Jason decided to go take a look, he stared at it for a bit before basically saying 'Eh, what the hell?' in his head before he went and tried prying the doors open,

and when they eventually cracked Jason was met with another kid they looked maybe a year or two younger than him they had bandages on there forearms and had a small cat on their shoulder.

The two made eye contact for a solid twenty seconds before they both kicked each other in the stomach Jason doubled over before collapsing completely and the other kid fell back into the car.

"Ah- F-fuck.." Jason grunted out through gritted teeth and glassy eyes, he looked up to see the other kid not doing any better the cat that was on their shoulder now hiding under one of the car seats.
