You were born with a golden spoon in your mouth but it's not that simple because your family controls you like a puppet. Many consider you lucky to be born into a rich family but they also consider you arrogant and unbearable, considering you a spoiled child.

You just left a piano lesson, it's pouring rain, but you have an umbrella. And so you're walking down the street when you notice your classmate Esmond. He was sitting on the stairs in the alley, clutching his head with one hand, looking visibly upset and puzzled.

As you know, Esmond is poor which is why you have repeatedly reproached him for wearing the same clothes but you have never wondered if he has problems in the family.

Just out of curiosity, you approached Him and asked why he was out on the street this late at night and in the rain. He looked up at you in surprise at the time, not expecting you here. He adjusted his cap, hiding his face.

"Do you care about that?" There was a sign of sadness in his voice.

"Hm... No, but I bet a lot of people are going home." You said it but he just shook his head and then looked at you through his cap. He thought that he could share his problem with you since he needs to tell this someone.

"My parents got drunk so I left home." He said, adjusting his bracelet on his left hand.

You were surprised to hear his answer. Who leaves home just because their parents have been drinking? Your parents drink too but a couple of glasses of wine can't sabotage leaving home.

"You left home? Huh, it seems like someone went too far. Oh, you poor people are so weird." You said that because you don't know that his parents are alcoholics.

He frowned at you because he doesn't think that's a bad reason to leave home.

"Poor people... What do you even know about poor people?! You don't even seem to understand the reason for my leaving home." He said, jumping up from his seat and looking down at you.

"You're just lucky to be born into a rich family. I bet you would NEVER make some kind of donation to an orphanage."
