The crazy clown is back in town. Yeah, you heard it right, and he'd injured Signal. The sudden comeback of the criminal had led to Bruce's instant decision of benching everyone else until he'd caught Joker himself.
None of the Batkids accepted that, obviously, they'd decided to go against Bruce's order, as always. However, not everyone was totally okay with the clown being back, especially Jason. He didn't know what had fueled him, what had caused him to go seek for the clown himself, but it was as if all his rationality just flew out the window at the mere mention of that maniac. It was infuriating the way that lunatic could get under his skin without even showing his face yet. And if it wasn't for Dick coming in time, Jason wasn't sure what he would've done.
That was his problem, right? No, to be exact, Jason believed he was the problem. He was violent, volatile, totally fucked in the head, always the aggressive, rash, crossing lines without thinking twice kid ever since he was young, which got even worse as he grew up. That was why he died, also why he'd messed up his relationship with Bruce, why he'd always hurt people he cared about, every terrible thing that'd ever happened to him was his own damn fault.
No one would say that to his face, of course, but he could see it in their eyes, the way they all thought that something was seriously wrong with him, as if they were all waiting for him to snap, and now he was starting to wait on that as well. A ticking bomb, waiting to explode and inflict damage on everyone around, that's what the vigilante felt like. It was only a matter of time before he loses control and goes too far again, especially when the Joker was still around.
So, in order not to be a burden, Jason decided to leave Gotham for a while to clear his head, it'd probably be better if he just disappeared anyways.
"I forgot how quiet it was here-" Jason said, getting off his bike and opening the door to his safe house, only to be met with the sight of you already there. "Wh-How are you here?"
