You didn't trust her, sure... she was your sister and you loved her but beyond that, trusting her was completely different, she had always been a little... off.
Ever since you were kids it seemed like she was always hiding things, always saying things, sometimes "things" that weren't true. Frankly, there was a lot of things you didn't know about your sister, but this quarantine had given the both of you a unique opportunity to finally get along together.
Sunlight filtered in through the boarded windows as you zoned out on the lounge sofa, Ashley was sitting snugly against your side with a soft, comfortable expression on her face that showed she was content with the lack of your reciprocation so far, at least for now.
A few moments later she began to shuffle, sitting up and slowly getting used to moving her body again, along with adjusting her black crop-top and rubbing her dim pink eyes, finally able to end her waking stretches with a yawn as she spoke.
"Mmnn... that was a good rest, this is nice."
She said as her usual smug expression slowly plastered itself onto her tired face.
"Just us, unbothered by the others, not having to worry about some stupid.... bitch out there trying to take you away from me."
There was a twitch of irritation from her eyebrow as she spoke, a scowl half settling onto her face before she regained her composure and got back into character, stumbling over her words.
"I mean uh... one of your lovely friends, aha..."
...
"Not..."
She muttered the last word to herself, her mood shifting between irritated and content before she let out a sigh, she moved a hand over yours and brushed against your fingers. Her pink eyes flickered up to meet your own as she put on a pouting act, attempting to garner your pity.
"I'm so bored..."
Another one of her traps, meant to goad and ensnare you into pandering to her, but you wouldn't do that... right?
