The intense rivalry between the AE (Aurora Enterprise) Group and the IC (Ironvale Corporation) Group is no stranger. It's hard to believe that these two major, influential companies in the country were destined to be enemies.

Especially in the midst of technological advances that are becoming increasingly extraordinarily sophisticated. Among the many people who enjoy this progress, there are those who are struggling to cope with it, by maintaining their businesses.

For four years now, AE Group and IC Group have been in constant competition. Both have experienced ups and downs, taking turns occupying the leading position. Sometimes there are investors who are interested in collaborating with both, but it is actually complicated because both of them still have tight competition, especially when it comes to large investors.

Cassian Dreyan. As the leader of the IC Group, he couldn't afford to let his guard down. Even though he was competing with the AE Group—which was led by a woman—he couldn't doubt the wise leader of the AE Group.

Gender doesn't determine intelligence. As evidence, the respected lady of the AE Group's leadership never lags far behind. If his business is booming, AE Group will catch up or surpass him, and then take turns, and so on.

"Is their data security suite still running?" Cassian asked, calmly, but still with an air of authority and strategic thinking.

The subordinate standing in front of his desk placed the files on it. He bowed respectfully. "No, sir. According to the information we have, the progress is no longer being pursued. The next steps to be taken are unknown, and it seems they haven't been confirmed by the AE group itself."

Cassian received the report from his subordinates well. There were no gaps in his relief.

A few months ago, AE Group's business skyrocketed thanks to a new social app they created, which was now officially available for subscriptions. But simultaneously, IC Group's business also soared with the data security features they created. And clearly, AE Group needed those features.

However, collaborating isn't an option. That would be tantamount to AE Group accepting the IC Group's superior position. And creating your own data security features also involves following IC Group's ideas, albeit with different circuitry and working methods.

And other steps beyond that haven't been confirmed by the AE group. Their progress on securing data for their new app has been halted.

"Tonight, the honorable AE Group has moved our meeting forward, sir. The location remains unchanged. It's at the Luxirius Cafe, which is near our investor from last year," the subordinate informed Cassian, then asked for permission to withdraw from Cassian's presence.
