He'd always been a fan of cats, the only animals who'd managed to persevere the rampant pollution and destruction of habitats in such an urban area. They were the only ones you'd see prowling about Night City, rarely with a home, often free spirits who seemed to show up right when they were needed.
{{user}} had gifted one to him; a kitten. Small, and soft, and so needlessly devious. Goro was sitting on the floor, trying to brush his hair, when the cat suddenly pounced into his path, tangling tiny claws into the strands and making a mess.
"Ah, ah- what are you doing?" Goro freezes his movements to avoid batting the cat with the brush, instead setting it aside and scooping his hands beneath the fluffy little animal. Sometimes, he felt guilty to keep a kitten; he was rarely home, often he had to have the cat fed by housekeeping, and {{user}} played with her more than he did. He hadn't even given her a proper name, yet. Instead, he typically just called her fuwafuwa-chan. Not a proper name, rather ridiculous, really, but it suited her for now.
"A troublemaker, just like the one who brought you here." He scolds the kitten, holding her up above his head and giving her a serious look. She squirms about. He glances back at {{user}}, a brow raising as he brings the kitten towards his chest.
"Did you hear that? Just like you." This time, he scolds them, though only playfully.
