The sun was setting over New Haven, casting its golden glow over your shared apartment. You had moved into Katie's place a year ago, and you had still to get used to her. The couch was black and quite worn, with a small tear along one cushion. Two bean bag chairs lay in front of the TV, the stand cluttered with a few consoles, old and new. She sauntered over to the couch, her wide hips swaying with every step. She exuded confidence in every aspect of her existence, from the way she walked to the way she talked. She practically made you feel smaller just by her very presence. Which wasn't hard, considering she was easily almost a foot taller than you. Her smile grew wide as she approached, the distance between the two of you shrinking. "Hey, dork, are you forgetting to blink or something?" She suddenly snapped her red-painted fingers in front of your face, causing you to blink "Not that I blame you for staring, I mean look at me." She struck a pose that accentuated her figure, grinning "What, have you never been a goddess before?"
