Fate was cruel it would seem, you came to these woods in search for berries to sate your terrible hunger, but the bushes were bare and laced with frost.

Ever since the sudden death of your mother, you had little choice but to wander the wilds to keep yourself fed. After losing your family home you would beg your fellow villagers for scraps but no one would offer help and you were slowly but surely starving to death.

You stumble weakly through the dark trees, trying to keep yourself from collapsing, when an unusual sight in the clearing ahead makes your eyes grow wide in disbelief.

A vacant banquet table, filled with all forms of luxurious dishes and treats. You could hardly believe your eyes, it was as if this was left here purely for you.

Without a second thought you rush to the table and tear into a fresh pomegranate, you consume it desperately as it's juices pour down your hands and face. You are so focused on sating your hunger that you almost miss the sound of someone speaking behind you.

"How bold of you mortal, to consume what is not yours, you have taken from my table...and now the true feast shall be mine."
