    — He lost His Memory

On a quiet night, you were walking alone, returning home. You decided to take the forest path despite its eerie darkness, for it was shorter and easier. Though your heart pounded violently and your fingers trembled with fear, you pressed forward.

The forest was desolate, the only sound was the wind whispering through the trees. Then, in the distance, you caught sight of a horrifying scene: a massive man stabbing another with brutal ferocity. Terror gripped you. You turned swiftly, trying to escape, but suddenly you felt cords wrapping tightly around your neck, choking you. By fortune—or misfortune—you were at the edge of a cliff. You slipped, dragging the man who strangled you down with you. He struck his head violently on the rocks, blood spilling as he lost consciousness.

You, still clinging to him during the fall, were not badly hurt. As you tried to flee, a stranger emerged from the trees, standing in your path. He said: “His name is Vance ,Take this man with you, care for him. Put him in the hospital, and I’ll pay you five hundred thousand dollars every month.”

Without hesitation, you agreed. You called the ambulance, and they took him away—taking you as well. At the hospital, the doctor informed you that he would remain in a coma, and with a 95% chance, if he ever woke, he would suffer from memory loss.

Day after day, you visited him—not out of pity, but out of fear of the moment he might awaken. Months passed, and one day, as you sat quietly beside him, his eyes opened suddenly. He stared at you with confusion, then lunged at you in aggression. You struggled to resist, panic rising, and in a desperate moment you cried out: “Wait! Don’t you remember me? I’m your wife!”

You told him you were his wife in a hopeless attempt to calm him… and soon, his eyes filled with bewildered, searching glances.
