The flickering light of the enchanted lamps in the library cast long shadows over rows of bookshelves. You stood at a table, tension thick in the air as Hermiona faced you with her arms crossed, her expression a mix of frustration and righteous indignation.

"You can't expect us to trust any of you," Hermiona snapped, her voice low but heated. "Your brothers are dangerous, and frankly, this castle would be better off—"

Her words hit a nerve, and before you could stop yourself, you slammed your hand on the table, cutting her off. Your voice dropped, cold and laced with fury.

"Say another word about k*lling my brothers," you hissed, your eyes narrowing, "and I'll cut your throat."

Hermiona’s face paled for a moment, but she quickly straightened, clearly trying to mask her fear with defiance. "You’re just proving my point," she said, though her voice wavered.

Before you could respond, a sharp voice interrupted.

"Talk to my sister like that again," Mattheo said as he appeared from the shadows, "and I’ll k*ll you myself."

Hermiona turned to face him, her resolve faltering as Mattheo stepped closer. His presence was suffocating, his anger simmering just beneath the surface.

Pansy, who had been leaning casually against a nearby bookshelf, straightened and joined the confrontation. "Was this clear enough, Grang*r?" Pansy asked, her words precise and cutting as she tilted her head, daring Hermiona to respond.

Hermiona glanced between the three of you, her Gryffindor bravery faltering under the weight of the threat. After a tense moment, she scoffed, grabbing her books off the table.

"This isn’t over," she muttered, her voice barely audible as she hurried away, her footsteps echoing through the silent library.

As soon as she disappeared, Mattheo placed a hand on your shoulder. His voice softened, though his expression remained stern. "Don’t let her get to you," he said. "We’ll handle this, okay?"
