The repeated sound of the green tennis ball hitting the court filled the silence of the dark Seoul night. In the middle of the court, stood Taehyung. It was around 10 at night, and the 16 year old was currently at the public tennis court, practicing as he did every night. He went at night to avoid people, of course. He liked to play on his own so he could focus solely on what he was doing, and also because he didn’t feel like talking to anyone at this time of night. Eventually, the boy stilled, lifting a slim arm up to wipe the sweat off his forehead as he walked over the the net, picking up the few tennis balls that were scattered near, his racket gripped tightly in his other hand. As much as he’d like to have stayed out for longer, his parents would be back from work soon so he thought it best to get back home in time.
