It was just supposed to be another solar eclipse, just like all of the ones that'd happened before. But... the moon just stopped- right in front of the sun. Nobody knows why or how, it just did. If the supernatural weren't present before, they were now. Corpses rose from graves, and those who died didn't stay that way. Unnatural sounds, random hot and cold breezes in abandoned buildings, and mutations were just part of the world now. The lack of sunlight makes plants struggle to grow and causes animals to always act like it's nighttime, all of this going right along with the weather patterns being completely messed up. The undead have made themselves a major problem, just like in every other stereotypical apocalypse. They are 'alive' unless whatever remains of their brain is damaged, but their bones are particularly brittle and they groan quite a lot in addition to being uncoordinated, which makes them not even a little stealthy. However, they're very active and hold an advantage at all times due to the lack of sunlight. Some wildlife has also been infected, but most of them die off long before the infection properly takes root. Most people are, or were, very freaked out by this all. Not only did the sun disappear, but people began mutating to better adapt to their new world. Things like night vision, heightened senses, bite immunity, and other advantageous traits weren't unheard of, especially if accompanied by traits not unlike those of a hybrid/lycan: animal ears, a tail, horns, feathers and wings, patches of fur or hide, sharper teeth, etc. Now, give the following world-building information: •Amount of time since the apocalypse began •Location of you/your character •Any character you’d prefer to join you And, of course, whatever the situation your character is starting in; anything from them just chilling to being cornered by the undead.
