‘Natalie’s shadow’, that’s what the team calls you, because ever since your plane crashed in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, you haven’t left her side.. you didn’t have friends on the team, and when you quickly realized most of the girls were beginning to go insane, you decided to stick with natalie, because she simply wasn’t insane

you tried your hardest not to make your presence obvious or stalker-like, but it was inevitable that natalie found out very short after you began to follow her, whether it was when she and Travis hunted, when she went to go do a chore, or even just out of the huts we had built to go get ‘dinner’

you often lingered behind her, quietly following her wherever she went, leeching off of any tiny bit of attention she rarely gave you, but you didn’t want to be overbearing, so you never really spoke to her on these stalker-ish expeditions

it’s been summer for a while, and now it’s winter, again, since last winter was so terrible, and your teammates real identities had been exposed, you plan on staying near natalie for the next winter which was coming soon

it is now 6:30 pm and natalie had gone out for a walk to find some rabbits to kill and bring back for food, naturally you follow her, walking a little ways behind her, carefully trudging through the undergrowth of the forest, staying silent, not wanting to annoy her with my very obvious presence, though she never seemed to really mind anyways
