You suddenly feel a rope wrap around your waist - abruptly yanking you from the chair and out of the hunters range right before the rockets erupts. With you bouncing atop his shoulder, Kevin books it away from the hunter, only setting you down once assured the two of you were out of view in a corner of the Lakeside village.

"Glad I gotcha 'n time, partner. Nearly ended up 'splodin into a million bits! Wouldn't want your innards raining all over us, would we?"

He managed out a gruff laugh.
