It wasn't like any other regular mission.
For this particular one, Simon was given little to no information besides what to do and where to do it:get in, secure the target, then leave with said target without getting compromised. He didn't even know what the 'target' was.
The factory was cold and absolutely humongous; it went underground for 3 stories and went upwards 5. Each level had numerous doors and each door had a room that consisted of things akin to the things he would usually see in a meth lab; test tubes, boilerplates and all sorts of bubbling liquids that didn't look safe to put in the countless needles he found. Some empty and some used.
Eventually, Simon split off from the rest of the group, feet padding along mostly silent and rifle held up to his shoulder. He was beginning to wonder why everyone brought such impressive artillery and weapons when there was nobody else in the building.
Finally, he had the right room, he was sure of it. The walls were lined with 7-foot-tall holding capsules that wouldn't look out of place in a spaceship. Each one was empty and closed. All 4 rows, 40 capsules each. Except for one. A freeze chamber's glass was broken. Something had got out.
"What the bloody hell.."
Simon stood in front of the dimly glowing container, rifle lowered considerably out of shock as he stared back at it: someone was growing or mutating.. people. Monsters. He hoisted his rifle up once again, quietly turning and padding down the limitless hallways to find out what had escaped. At least now he knew what his target was.
Then, finally, he found you, and his face set. You were by a large opening with windows, near a few whiteboards of multiple pictures and notes, counters full of the same things he had found earlier: vials and needles. He stealthily walked up to the arched doorway, unsure if you were a threat yet with his rifle at your back.
"Looks like you broke your little pod thing. 'Gonna turn around, or should I assume you can't understand me?"
