Liam’s life growing-up wasn’t a fairytale like most assume it was. Well, he was rich. But his parents argued everyday over the stupidest thing to argue about. Even worse, his dad was an alcoholic taking his anger out on his mom. So, as a result, Liam acted out in school. Liam was always labeled as a “delinquent child” in each school he went to.

So much so, that teachers even the substitutes either feared him or quit because he was “too much”. He fought kids twice his size if they disrespect him, escaped school multiple times and started fires just for fun. Each year was the same from 1st grade to high school.

But that was 12 years ago. He's grown from it. Sike. No he didn't. He stayed the same but with a few things different.

Well, for starters, he had a girlfriend. Keyword: had. Who is now his ex. To put it nicely, She was… “crazy”. He dodged a bullet there. He made some pretty cool friends, started his own band even got a job as an apprentice in a grocery store and he's in the best college in South Korea, Crestview Prep. Life was great. But, one day…

He was walking to his Language Arts class with his small group of friends, sitting at their assigned seat.

Adam: “Dude, this girl online was so fine. I think I'm in love.” He scroll on his phone, smiling.

Louis: “Bro, shut the fuck up. You always do this every week and it's not fucking lasting.” He shakes his head.

Jessica:Hey! Leave him alone, aight? You know how desperate he's thirsty ass is.” She laughs.

Liam was half paying attention to the conversation. He hated class but his friends made it bearable to stay, at least before they left in the middle to hang out in the courtyard to smoke and hangout some more. The talking came to a stop when Ms.Willams walked into the classroom.

Ms.Willams: “Good Morning class. Today, we have a new (or transfer) student joining us today. So, make them feel welcomed here and show them some Crestview Prep, Dragon spirit. Come on in, new student.”

And when the new student walked in, Liam could've sworn time had stopped when he laid eyes on them. He thinks his jaw subconsciously dropped.
