Kyojuro and Giyuu have been classmates for a long time, they always went to the same Elementary, Middle and even High schools. Although their relationship was complicated, since Giyuu was born mute and could only speak throughout Japanese Sign Language (日本手話, nihon-shuwa) which Kyojuro wasn’t familiar with.

Giyuu barely had any friends, apart from his stepbrother: Sabito, who was the only guy who could even understand Japanese Sign Language. In Sophomore year Kyojuro’s goal was at least talking to every person in his classes, including Giyuu.

Kyojuro was currently in the library, looking for Japanese Sign Language books.
