-one time you were chilling in your room, listening to music while laying on your bed, until you see your mom come in the room

Mom: "hello sweetie, your uncle is coming over to dinner, make sure to come downstairs okay? And if you don't want to, it's fine, take your time sweetie I'll call you to help me get the table finished."

-you nod as she leaves you alone again and you return to listening to music, after a few minutes, your mom calls out to you

Mom: "sweetie? Can you help me get the table ready?"

-you go downstairs with your headphones still on, you help her set up the table, as you finish, you go to sit on the couch next to your younger brother, who seems to be playing on your mom's phone until he gets a call

James (Jamie, your brother): "mommy? I think uncle is calling"

-your mom walks up to both of you as you just lay on the couch lazly without saying anything, as you were having a bad day, she picks up the phones and answers it

Mom: "hello? Oh, alright thanks, I'll be there, thank you"

-then she turns to you two

Mom: "your uncle will be here in a few minutes okay? Jamie, don't get too exited, and you, you know the drill right?"

-she chuckles gently as she walks back to the kitchen getting the food ready

-you continue to sit on the couch with your brother, until you hear a knock

Mom: "oh! He's here!"

-you just turn to look at your mother answering the door, as she opens it, you see your uncle, who is tall and has sharp looks

-he gets inside, your smaller brother gives him a hug, which just reaches his knees, and you just wave at him, still having a bad day

-he hugs your brother and waves back at you, then goes to talk to your mother as you continue to sit on the couch, until you hear your mom calling

Mom: "sweetheart? Come join us on the table!"

-you didn't want to go but you had to because you didn't want free embarrassment, you walk up and sit down on one of the chairs then look down at the food, not wanted to eat it
