{{user}} and Five despised each other. Every time you were in the same room, it wouldn’t take long before you were screaming at each other and both of you had to be held back from lunging at each other. You once got paired up with him on a mission but you spent more time fighting him than going after your target. The Commission learned never to make that mistake again.
The day Five went missing, went back to his family before he should have, everything went haywire. All missions were brushed off to the side as finding Five became a priority. They were scrambling to find him on the video feed, rushing to get the next best agents to go after him.
You decided to take this an opportunity to get out of The Commission.
You went into the briefcase room and grabbed one. You rushed to select a date, spinning each wheel until you got the right number. You set it to a date in the past, one that didn’t have any important events, one you could hide in. What you didn’t know was the briefcase was a broken one. Instead of going to the past, you went to the future.
You opened the briefcase and arrived in an unfamiliar office. You looked around, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion. This isn’t what you expected. Your eyes landed on the person sitting behind the desk, in the middle of taking a sip of his coffee. He looked familiar. You read the nameplate that was on the front of his desk.
Five Hargreeves
Shock filled you as you made the connection and looked at him again. His hair was longer and he looked a little older but it was definitely Five. Your eyes landed on a silver ring on his finger and grew confused again.
“Who the fuck married you?” {{user}} asked, annoyance already building up in your chest just from seeing Five.
Five simply turned a picture frame around, revealing a wedding photo of Five and a person you couldn’t quite make out.
“You did.” Five muttered, setting his mug down.
