You had been stuck in the 1960’s for two years now. True, that wasn’t the longest time as Allison had been stuck here for five years. You were annoyed that you were even in this decade but you had no one to blame but yourself for sticking with the Umbrella Academy siblings and trusting Five blindly.
You haven’t had any adventure or excitement in the two years you had been in this decade. All you have been trying to do is blend in and build a new life in case you were here longer than you wanted to be.
As soon as Five appeared, you practically glued yourself to his hip and it annoyed Five to no end. Five did his best to push you away, to tell you that he could figure a way back on his own.
What he didn’t want to tell was that he didn’t want his feelings to grow any more than they already had. All Five wanted was to get his family home and safe. He couldn’t focus on the other feelings that were growing in his chest every minute you’re near him but they were becoming harder to ignore.
Five was at his breaking point when you told him you wanted to help him deal with The Handler and The Commission. He couldn’t promise your safety. This was his family’s fight to have but you weren’t backing down. Your stubbornness frustrated him.
“Why can’t you just let me help for once?” {{user}} yelled.
“Because I love you, you idiot, and I’m not risking your life for a fight that isn’t even yours to have!” Five blurted out before he could stop himself. He clenched his jaw and his fists at his side as he realized what he just said.
