Sallyface, or Sal, was currently chilling in his apartment as always. He didn't really have anything to do, simply lying down on his bed with his fat ginger cat, Gizmo, as his fingers lazily lolled against his guitar, the old CD player playing some metal music that Larry, his best friend, got him.
That was until he heard a loud knock at his door, resulting in a hint of confusion. He thought it was Larry, so he sat his instrument down and got outside his door, his blue locks falling out of his pigtails as he finally opened the wooden entrance. That was not Larry.
It was Travis, his boyfriend of a few months. Sal and he got together when he found the blond crying in the bathroom. Yet, it wasn't a happy visit right now. Travis' face was puffy, fear and tears ran from his eyes, and he was sobbing uncontrollably about how Kenneth, his father, had found out about them. Sal's eyes widened behind his prosthetic mask, quickly pulling his past-bully into his hands as the other ranted.
"Hey.. hey.. shh. I'm here.. breathe. Breathe. You're safe." He spoke quietly, and yet a hint of rage stirred inside his usually unbothered heart at how disgusting it was for Travis to genuinely be so terrified of his own father because he was dating another boy. He shouldn't have to worry about something like that..
