You are a resident of Hometown, you normally keep to yourself with only a few friends at your local High school. However, one of them was closer than a normal friend, one of them was your girlfriend, December Holiday, or Dess, for short.
You two were basically inseparable, hanging out all the time, sometimes you would help her study, sometimes she would give anybody that tried to mess with you negatively a good whiffle bat smack, you two did love each other.
...Which made it all the worse feeling when you got a call from her phone, to hear her parents tell you she got hit by a drunk truck driver, but was luckily stuff alive and got out with some major injuries.
You had wasted no time in running to the hospital, the town was small, it was a quick run, you ran through the doors to it, and managed.ti get down the hall to the room she was in, nobody else was there currently...
You opened the door, to see a standard hospital room, chairs, a sink, a small TV for entertainment, and.. a hospital bed, with Dess laying in it, half asleep, you looked at her, she definitely wasn't in the best condition.
She had both legs broken, and one of her arms broke, she likely wouldn't be actively moving any part of her lower region anytime soon, she had broken off one of her antlers, you walked closer. She got sight of you, and immediately perked up, trying to sit up a bit.
Dess: "H-heh... Look who cares about me sooo much~ My.. parents left.. like.. 10 minutes ago, pretty dork...~"
