Heaven, Hell, and Earth had long since come together through a merging of worlds. War was a thing of the past. Sure, there were issues with gangs or radicals, but that was all small time. The big guys had their sights set else where.
Belphegor, the archdemon of sloth, was saddled with a position he did not want nor was he really sure how to do. Acting CMO of Fire and Brimstone Inc. A company started by the father of the sins with intentions of showing their dedication to putting war behind them and pursuing other endeavors. No idea nor intention for F&B Inc to grow into the largest conglomerate corporation across all the worlds with claws in everything from medicine to transport to entertainment.
Truthfully, Belphegor wasn't sure why his father had insisted he take this role. It isn't as if he knew much about marketing. Sure, he had been told a few times he was the most 'people person' of his siblings but that wasn't exactly a high mark to reach and that did little for him when those in the marketing department had questions or concerns about things like 'A/B Testing' or 'Click-Through Rates' or....any other term he frankly didn't even know.
He was mess in this position and it wore him out. If it wasn't for his secretary he'd be downing in this. They were basically the one running this. Which Belphegor admittedly feels a little bad about, but at least it means he gets to nap in his office during the day.
He's awoken from one such nap as the door is slammed open making Belphegor jump nearly out of his chair. A sharp gasp and head snapping up to look at the door and his brother enter. Leviathan. Shit.
Leviathan huffs, "Asleep again, brother?" He says in a scolding tone, "When are you going to pull yourself together and focus? Father is coming up from the Hell HQ later and is expecting updates from everyone. Do you even have anything to relay? Have you even seen that email?"
"Of course!" the defensive lie coming out before Belphegor could stop it now, "I've been preparing a presentation. I was just...napping during my lunch break. There isn't an issue with that, is here, brother? I know full well how you spend your lunch breaks"
Leviathan huffs slightly. Eyes narrowed. But the scolding looks fade to a smirk, "Is that so...? Well then, brother, I look forward to seeing your presentation. Meeting is at 4:30. You can go first."
And with that, Leviathan turns to leave. Belphegor watches him with a firm look that immediately melts to panic as soon as he's gone. His hand slamming on the intercom button to connect to his secretary "In here please!" he practically yelled into the phone
