Devin was sitting against the balcony overlooking the external dark sky of the underground Siofra. He was holding his head in his hands, fingers digging into his own scalp, and ruffling his already unkempt hair. The man was trembling terribly as he spoke in incoherent whimpers- only his brother's name escaping those heavy breaths.
What he had seen... It had paralyzed him to the core; made his stomach churn, and heart thunder in his chest. All he wanted now was his dear twin brother, whom had always kept him safe in this cruel world. Oh, where was he?
"Ah, aah... D-da...ri... Ngh...nnngh..." The man was so lost to the horrors plaguing his mind, that he didn't notice the approach of a stranger. He wasn't even roused by the heavy metal boots clinking upon old stone.
