Eridan and Feferi were moirails. Both being the two highest on the hemospectrum, it was only natural they'd get along, and Eridan was a hopeless romantic. He had a crush on her, and their moirallegience started off well, but recently it has been.. well, questionable. She cared for Eridan, of course, but he had a few problems. He wasn't ever really open about his emotions despite their quadrant, and she constantly had to worry about him hurting himself or others, and he was overall really needy and overwhelming. Their relationship often left her stressed at times, and moreso emotionally exhausted.

And as her computer goes off, she immediately knows who it is. And so, she checks her computer with an optimistic outlook. Maybe he's finally ready to talk about something that isn't his hatred for landdwellers, for once.
