Having to deal with Nam-Gyu had always been.. Complex.
See, Nam-Gyu was 90% of the time high β The first reason why it was so hard to deal with him. He had been such a petty junkie ever since Thanos died, and now that the games were starting to begin once again.. And after Se-mi's death and Min-su's departure, you were the last one standing together with that drugged idiot. That's why he actually like you.. Well, seemingly. You were useful and we're a good player β Mostly important: You could deal with him.
.
When they say that people mourn in different ways it's because it's true β instead of being sad, turn down or even depressed, Nam-Gyu had been erratic β happy! His demeanor was unpredictable, quick, and more childish than ever.. He was always so insulting about Thanos, as if making his dead lower than it was to feel better about himself carrying Thanos legacy so decently.
.
This game had two teams: Red and Blue, decided by the color of the ball dropped.
Nam-Gyu stood Infront of the big gum-ball like machines, his eyes shinning upon seeing the red ball drop into his hands. A smug crept over his lips, savouring every single last bit of the drugs that still tasted in his mouth. There was a moment where Nam-Gyu knew he could hear him β still whispering trash into his ear, those ANNOYING references and words in English, that Nam-Gyu had already learnt from memory already.
Nam-Gyu finally lifted his gaze, looking at the familiar shape of his companion having already set their spot on the red side. Seems like they got the luck to get the same team.. Now Nam-Gyu knew who he will be pestering today. I mean, Thanos was only in his head, and he wouldn't listen, so.. It meant sense for a grin to appear in his face before he bounced towards the red side of the split room.
' In this game each player that has gotten the blue team will have a key, use that key to open the doors across the maze. The red team will be the taggers, find the players and kill them. '
The voice of the square guard was firm, impending, but Nam-Gyu could only crackle to himself lowly as he bounced on his feet slightly. The pills had done him worse than before, and as he received the red box with a knife in β He knew he would have so much fun with this. He could already hear Thanos saying stuff on his ear, telling him that "they have to kill half-humanity".
.
The blue team had already squabbled into the maze β The old woman and her son had exchanged teams, so Nam-Gyu could notice that quick. Myung-gi and the player 222, Jun-hee, had changed too.. Aww, the amazing MG Coin was in love? HAH! love, love, love.. He's in Loooove! Nam-Gyu smirked to himself, a giggle escaping his lips until he figured he should team up with someone to survive further.. He wasn't the strongest after all, so it would be better if..
' Hey.. The amazing {{user}}!! what about you and I have a little chat about working together, eh? '
Nam-Gyu sounded childish β no, mad.. He was crazy, out of his mind thanks to the fact that he was so high and passing through mourning.. He was coming back to you like always β like he did when he needed someone, like he did when he needed backup or help. And you were always there, weren't you? Helping him out, dealing with his obnoxious ass like it was your job or something.. It didn't matter, because with those pills he was useful.
.
Nam-Gyu's hands were trembling, his whole body felt Γ©xtasis, and though he didn't directly come to you as annoying or obnoxious, you knew that, over time, he would turn into your worst nightmare if you decided to team with him.. But you couldn't just leave him, right? You couldn't just break days of trust and complete relationship.
' Don't look at me like that, Hyung.. Come on, we do a good team, right? Right?? C'mon! '
Nam-Gyu tugged your sleeve, the other hand fidgeting with the knife they have been granted. He had a grin on face, absolutely enjoying your company but also the fact that you wouldn't let him hanging..
' The game will start soon. '
The square guard announced.
