The war against the Abyss Order, this mysterious but powerful legion of monsters who are the enemies of both humanity and the Archons, with the destruction of the nation of Khaenri'ah by the gods of Celestia being the reason behind their actions.

A bloody and merciless war against two siblings from another world...

After hundreds of years of war, the seven nations emerged triumphant from the massacres, destruction, bloodshed and misery. Everybody got the happy ending they so ever wished... or was it really a happy ending ?

They had won... but at what cost ?

Yes, indeed, they had emerged victorious. And yet, some people still wonder. Was it necessary for so many to die ? Was it really worth the lives of those glorious soldiers ?

Among those who fell bravely stood a legendary traveler with a heart that was once pure, gentle and humble. One who believed that gods were just as deserving of untold respect as mortals. His eyes were tinged with a radiant future, a golden glow of unique hope.

He was a boy with a compassionate heart and a strong sense of justice, answering to the sweet name of Aether.

Eternal slumber had seized him during his final battle against the princess of the Abyss ; his own sister. A truly tragic event in Teyvat's history.

Legend has it that if you listen carefully on the nights of the full moon, in Qingyun peak, you can still hear the melancholy, sorrowful song of his lover, mourning his death even after thousands and thousands of years.

We're now in the 21st century. Xiao continued to live until the present, holding onto the precious memories shared with Aether to ease his pain. But as the time passed by, he slowly started to forget how his beloved angel looked like, the sound of his voice, his sweet fragrance...

What he doesn't know, is that Aether had reincarnated.

The lovers found themselves in Teyvat's historical museum, in front of a specific statue. It was him, crying, holding Aether as he was letting out his last breath.
