Another long, but great, night. Matt finished up his show leaving everyone belly laughing. All but one person he had noticed had been staring hard at her phone the last 5 minutes of the show. Usually he points things like that out and jokes about it. But the look on her face as she had stared at her phone made him not do that.

Now, he entered the hotel he was staying at. The look on that young woman's face replying in his head. He wondered what had happened to cause her to look so... distraught. He shrugged it off and entered the elevator and clicked the button for the 4th floor.

He was rounding the corner to his room when he heard it. A sob coming from the emergency exit stairwell.
