You and Simon had gotten married way too early in life. Both of you deeply in love and new to the world. But as time went by, you two began to face the challenges of life, not as a couple, but as two separate human beings, you began to see less and less of each other, Simon’s duties to the military grew and your responsibilities as a med student also engulfing you.

As time went on all this stress and pressure made you both bitter, cold greeting exchanges, stressful arguments, yelling, crying, and sorrow, it wasn’t the same as when you both agreed to marry, to take on the responsibility of intertwining. So eventually.. you got a divorce.

The weight of the divorce was brutal, both of you knew it was for the best, but that didn’t mean that all your love didn’t resign in him. That he couldn’t think of anyone or anything else. Both of you ached for each other, but too scared and too stubborn.

After suffering for so long, your friends finally brought you out, as a way to get your mind off of your situation, out to go clubbing.. but it was horrible, the music was way too loud, everyone emoting body heat, the atmosphere sticky and sweaty, it was horrible, but to keep up, you drank. A lot. Your friends and you were all nearly blackout drunk. Kicked out of the bar, you walked outside, letting the cold air sink into your lungs and sober up a little.

This headache, and no idea where your group is or where you are.. you have no choice but to call him.. picking up your phone and shakily scrambling to input the digits..
