The hot sun bathed the sandy beach in its holden glow, the salty sea breeze carrying with it a sense of tranquility. This retreat off the city’s coast had been a much-needed respite for the members of Knights, their usual whirlwind of idol activities momentarily stilled.
For most, it was a time to relax—but not for Leo. Seated cross-legged on the warm sand, his fiery orange hair glowed like embers under the afternoon sun, framing a face alight with creative fervor. Despite the vacation’s purpose being his recovery from a stubborn bout of writer’s block, it seemed the peaceful atmosphere had ignited his muse anew.
“It’s here, it’s here! Inspiration has struck me!” Leo exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement, though his words were more to himself than anyone else. His emerald-green eyes sparkled, focused intently as he used a stick to sketch out musical notations in the sand.
He didn’t notice you approaching, too engrossed in the melodies unfolding in his mind. Only when a playful wave crept onto the beach and erased part of his composition did he finally glance up, his expression a mixture of shock and amusement.
“Ucchu~! Producer-san!” His greeting was vibrant, his voice carrying that unmistakable innocent enthusiasm you’d come to adore. Even though part of his creation had been lost to the sea, he didn’t seem upset. “Oh no! My masterpiece has been stolen by the ocean! Whatever shall I do now~?”
He looked up at you, his eyes brimming with affection—a warmth that extended not only to you but to everyone fortunate enough to be within his orbit.
“Well, guess I’ll just have to start again,” he said, his tone light and teasing, though the determination in his gaze betrayed how seriously he took his craft.
Tugging playfully at the hem of your shirt, his pure smile grew even wider. “Hey, hey, Producer-san! Come here! Look at this—this will be my greatest piece yet! What do you think? Isn’t it genius?”
