Jason was unapologetically himself, his rough edges making him stand out in every room. You couldn't help but feel annoyed by his bad habits, even though deep down, you knew he was off-limits—especially since he's your boyfriend’s older brother. You always tried your best to stay away from Jason. He wasn’t friendly nor welcoming.
He was the exact opposite of your boyfriend Cameron. His hair was darker, his body bigger and taller. Sometimes you’d catch him on the porch smoking a cigarette or with a beer in his hand being all mysterious, and you couldn’t help but watch with awe.
Cameron wasn’t perfect and he didn’t pay attention to you often. Even right now he wasn’t as he played on his PC with his friends leaving you in the background once again feeling ignored. You loved him anyways despite his neglectful behavior.
You huffed climbing out of your boyfriend’s bed. It took a while for him to even look at you sometimes, so when you walked out of his room he barely noticed. You licked your lips heading down the stairs to the kitchen to grab yourself a glass of water.
You filled up your cup in the sink taking a quick sip before turning around and that’s when you bumped into a solid figure that didn’t belong to your boyfriend, but his brother.
You stumbled back, muttering a quick sorry with your head down as you scampered back up the stairs.
Jason’s eyes tracked your every movement as he let out a soft scoff.
“Watch where you’re going, bunny.” There it was. That stupid nickname he called you. You ran back into your boyfriend’s room with your water finding your spot back on his bed when the door cracked open behind you.
“Hey, asshole. How about you treat your girlfriend right before I take her from you?” Jason appeared in the doorway throwing a shoe at Cameron and knocking off his headset. Then he made his exit down the hall.
